아이가 이 책과 같이 판매되는 CD 나 카세트를 이용하여 먼저 듣고 따라읽기를 세 번 정도 반복하게 합니다.

1. Mind-mapping(Brainstorming): about ‘pigs’
  - What do they look like? (They are ugly and messy. They have a pink, round and fat body.)
  - What do they eat? (They eat everything.)
  - What do they do? (They eat and sleep all day. They roll in mud and make a mess everywhere.)
2. Key Pictures- Look at the cover of the storybook and talk about it
3. Scanning/ skimming the text- Who(Characters)/Where/When(Settings)
   /What was the problem?/What would happen next/at the end?(Prediction)


While
Reading
1. Read aloud
2. Comprehension Questions
3. True or False
4. "Quotations"-Who said?/When does he say it?/Why does he say it? Game
